Present and Future
More than 50 years of manufacturing solutions for industry
A family business born from nonconformity. Two specialist companies.
One shared vision: to grow without losing our way.
A group built from the roots
Origin and DNA
Jove Group was founded on a conviction that remains just as valid more than five decades later: that manufacturing with rigour, technical excellence and a clear vision of our own is the only foundation on which something lasting can be built. We did not get this far by growing quickly, but by growing with judgement. Every investment decision, every product development and every market we have entered has been the result of a deliberate process: that of a family business that understands growth because of doing things well, not as a goal.
What defines us is not size, but the way we operate. A nonconformist mindset has always been the Group’s internal driving force: the refusal to stand still when there is room to go further, the drive to keep improving what already works and the ability to anticipate what the industry will need before it asks. That mindset is what has led Jove Group to continuously reinvest in its capabilities, its technology, and the people who are part of its companies.
Structure and companies
Jove Group is the corporate structure that provides cohesion and strategic direction to two leading industrial companies:
FJ, specialising in flow control solutions, SAVAL valves, hydraulic equipment and PRIOR control systems.
HTS, specialising in safety sealing systems for cables.
Each company operates with technical and commercial autonomy in its respective markets. The Group provides vision, resources and the backing of a track record that very few family-owned industrial companies can match.
International reach
Today, the companies within the Group are present in more than 65 countries, with offices across four continents and a well-established international distribution network.
This scale has not been achieved by chance, but through demanding technical decisions, long-standing business relationships and a company culture that prioritises quality over volume.
The symbol that defines us. An identity built over the time.
The present (2025) Today, the group is writing a new chapter. The natural evolution of more than five decades takes shape in a new name, Jove Group, and in the arrival of a new generation ready to carry the project forward. The nonconformist spirit that started it all remains the driving force, and the journey that began in 1972 still has a long way to go.
International Expansion (2008) With its manufacturing operations firmly established, the Group took a decisive step towards internationalisation in 2008. What had begun in Torrelavega was starting to build a real presence beyond Spain’s borders, marking the beginning of sustained expansion that today sees the Group’s companies operating in over 65 countries, with offices across four continents.
Manufacturing (2006) In 2006, the Group began designing and manufacturing its own products. Taking control of the process from the outset was a decision that required investment, risk and conviction. It was also the decision that opened the door to everything that followed. In-house manufacturing has been one of our defining hallmarks ever since.
Resilience (1989) The crisis of the late 1980s put many companies to the test. We were no exception. But some projects do not crumble in the storm; they are forged by it. That period consolidated our way of making decisions: with prudence, long-term vision and the conviction that difficult moments are also the ones from which we learn the most.
A New Generation (1980) 1980 marked one of the most pivotal moments in our history: the arrival of the second generation. New hands at the helm, with the same roots. A fresh perspective on industry that did not break with the past, but built on it, transforming a family business into a project with real ambition.
The origins (1972) In 1972, Ferretería Villanueva was founded in Torrelavega, Spain. A small family business built on lessons learnt across the ocean and driven by a clear vision: to do things differently. A nonconformist vision that earned the trust of local industry and laid the foundations for everything that was to come.

What drives us
Our reason for being
Jove Group exists to provide direction and stability to specialised industrial companies that manufacture highly demanding technical solutions. Our purpose is not to grow for the sake of growth, but to ensure that FJ and HTS have the right conditions to remain leaders in their markets: the necessary resources, a management approach focused on real value, and a culture that places quality above quantity. We manufacture for environments where failure is not an option, and that standard shapes everything else we do.
Our roadmap
Our roadmap is to establish Jove Group as a leading industrial holding company in Europe, recognised for the technical expertise of its brands, the strength of its family-owned management model and an international presence that continues to grow steadily, not hastily. Our aim is not to be the biggest, but to be the most reliable: for FJ and HTS customers, for the markets in which we operate and for the people who make up the Group. In the long term, the Group’s growth will depend on continuing to develop the capabilities of its companies and exploring new opportunities aligned with the industrial, precision-driven ethos that defines us.
Our DNA
Nonconformity is not simply a value we claim to uphold; it is the mindset that has guided every decision since 1972 and continues to drive the Group forward, even when things are going well. We believe in technical rigour because we manufacture for environments where there is no margin for error, and our reputation is built one product at a time. We think in decades because we are a family business, and that is our natural way of understanding time, investment and people. We have reached more than 65 countries without ever losing sight of who we are, because identity is not compromised by growth; it is strengthened through it.
